Hilary Vartanian has held corporate management positions at Time Inc., Meredith, Hearst, Conde Nast and as the first female Vice President for Fortune Conferences where she led business development for the Fortune Global Forum, Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, and other by-invitation-only Fortune 500 CEO events.

In 2010, Hilary founded Meris Ventures, a management consultancy that develops best-in-class brand partnerships for organizations and cultural events worldwide. Meris Ventures has developed national & global sponsorships for CBS, Festival Napa Valley, Inc. & Fast Company, The Cannes, Hamptons, Toronto and NY Film Festivals, SXSW, Sundance, The Van Gogh Museum, TIGER 21, Sino Americas Forum, Gotham Awards, Tony Awards, Spirit Awards and more.

In philanthropy, Hilary led development for two iconic film organizations The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) Made in NY Media Center. Her Cannes Film Festival/Calvin Klein "Spotlight on Women Filmmakers" multi-year event was featured in a 2013 HBO documentary. Hilary has served as a production executive on feature films including Hide Your Smiling Faces (World Premiere NYFF) and Write When You Get Work (World Premiere SXSW).

Hilary has a BA in English from The University of Colorado, Boulder. She is the author of Peace Prayers (HarperCollins) and is active with the Camp Dudley Parent Leadership Council and CU Alumni Network. In 2018, following her recovery from breast cancer, she became a certified health coach which was the inspiration for well-social.
